In the 1980s, Ives Mergaerts lived above De Libertad - now also your hotel bar - and after his studies he became involved extensively in the music world, where he got to know John.
In 2011, at the request of Ives, John Watts played live on the 25th Libertad festivities.
Nicky Myny is a gifted visual artist/designer. She likes experimental collaborations with designers, scientists, musicians and is the life companion of Ives Mergaerts.
A co-operation between these three inspiring souls was written in the stars and the result can be found in this Backstage Room.
